As a law student or attorney, you are probably familiar with how to research legal issues, but questions occasionally come up on other topics as well. This guide will introduce you to medical resources, from background materials and news alerts to the journals and databases medical practitioners use. So whether you need the definition of a medical term or you want find some empirical research, you can start here.

This guide focuses on Internet sources and the books and databases available to Georgia State University library users.

The Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction produces interactive lessons authored by legal scholars and professionals that cover substantive law, as well as legal research and writing. The lessons include a mix of background information and questions.

Before diving into a research project, it's essential to have a strategy for how you will conduct your research.
