The purpose of this research guide is to provide an overview of a variety of topics involved in conducting legal research internationally. For many of the topics, there are additional research guides available for more in-depth research within specific subjects. The getting started tab helps with grasping the many complexities to conducting legal research and should be a starting point for those unfamiliar with how international legal research works.
For those individuals looking for laws specific to one or a few countries, the best place to start is either the foreign law tab or the comparative law tab.
As always, if you get stuck, feel free to contact a reference librarian at Georgia State's Law Library here. This page leads to the main library page, and library staff are available to chat during regular reference hours.
