CDC’s Healthy Homes Program is a coordinated, comprehensive, and holistic approach to preventing diseases and injuries that result from housing-related hazards and deficiencies. Website includes information on state programs, environmental justice activities, and tools and training materials.
City of Atlanta Office of Housing
The Office of Housing promotes the development of affordable workforce housing and community development policies as well as fiscal oversight and management of state and federal development contracts and programs valued in excess of $30 million dollars. The Office of Housing encourages partnerships with both public and private developers of workforce affordable housing.
National Center for Healthy Housing
The Healthy Housing Challenge is a partnership between Rebuilding Together and the National Center for Healthy Housing (NCHH), the leading expert in healthy homes, with funding support from the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation and Freddie Mac. Each year, Rebuilding Together’s 200 affiliates mobilize 100,000 volunteers to make repairs at no charge to the homes of low-income seniors, veterans, the disabled, and families with children.
