As with the Index to Legal Periodicals, LegalTrac covers both law reviews and journals oriented toward practitioners. Clicking on "Browse Subjects" will allow you to search by subject term, often resulting in more useful results than a full-text search.
ProQuest Research Library, along with Academic Search Complete, is one of the major general databases. The Research Library includes magazines, newspapers, and scholarly journals in all subjects.
JSTOR contains the full-text, in PDF, for all journals it covers. JSTOR covers journals in law, political science, history, economics, business, and other subjects, and is often a great first place to start for journals outside of law.
