Law Students can access these digital study aids through West Academic and Aspen Learning Library. Each study aid reproduces the formatting and design of its print counterpart. Evidence: Examples & Explanations (Aspen Learning Library)
Each book in the E&E series offers hypothetical questions with detailed explanations, allowing you to test your knowledge of course topics. The hypotheticals are similar to the ones presented in class, and the explanations are clear and conversational. The coverage is designed to work with all major casebooks.
McCormick on Evidence (West Academic Digital Study Aids)
This classic hornbook is largely free of citations to authority, but retains the most important footnotes. Topics covered include preparing and presenting evidence, cross-examination, and the procedure for admitting and excluding evidence. This hornbook also discusses privilege against self-incrimination, privilege concerning improperly obtained evidence, scientific evidence, and demonstrative evidence.
Evidence in a Nutshell (West Academic Digital Study Aids)
The Federal Rules of Evidence anchor this single-volume Nutshell, with some state variations noted where important. The text summarizes significant SCOTUS decisions and discusses developments in expert evidence. In addition to giving a succinct overview of the law of evidence, this slim volume also pays attention to the litigation process as a whole.
Principles of Evidence (West Academic Digital Study Aids)
This text examines all topics typically covered in a three- or four-hour course in evidence. Emphasis is on the Federal Rules of Evidence, which have largely been adopted in most states (including, recently Georgia). Ample footnotes provide easy access to leading cases, articles, and standard reference works.
